Role Summary
Dav Public School, Dehradun is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to students from VI to XII standards and will play a key role in shaping the academic journey of our students.
Teaching Approach
At Dav Public School, we emphasize hands-on learning and experimentation in Physics. Our PGT Physics Teacher will be expected to design and implement engaging laboratory experiments, activities, and projects that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students. The teacher will also utilize digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.
Day-to-Day Duties
* Prepare and deliver lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments for Physics classes
* Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key concepts
* Use technology to create interactive lessons, simulations, and multimedia content
* Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, plan lessons, and share best practices
* Supervise students during laboratory sessions and ensure their safety
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results
* Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents about student progress
* Stay updated with curriculum developments, technological advancements, and pedagogical best practices
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc.) with a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the CTET/TET exam and have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Physics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced learning environment. The candidate should be familiar with digital tools, multimedia resources, and online learning platforms. Salary and Benefits
