Teaching Approach

At Dsb International School, we believe in harnessing the power of technology to create a conducive learning environment. Our Yoga teachers are expected to integrate technology into their teaching practices, using tools such as digital whiteboards, educational apps, and online resources to create engaging lessons. You will be required to create and manage content on our LMS, use Google Classroom for assignments and assessments, and leverage technology to track student progress.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Yoga lessons to students in grades 6-12
- Integrate technology into Yoga teaching practices, using digital tools and resources
- Create and manage content on our LMS, including lessons, assignments, and assessments
- Use Google Classroom to assign and track student work, and to facilitate communication with parents
- Develop and implement blended learning strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Utilize smart boards and other digital tools to create interactive and engaging lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide technology initiatives
- Monitor and report on student progress, using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Yoga education and technology, and to apply this knowledge in the classroom
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning practices

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a specialization in Yoga. A TET or CTET certification is highly desirable. You should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with a proven track record of using technology to enhance student learning. As a PGT Yoga Teacher, you will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of Yoga education, as well as the ability to integrate technology into your teaching practices.
