About This Role
This is a senior-level PRT Science Teacher position at Tulas International School in Dehradun, with potential to lead the Science department. The role involves shaping science education for primary students while guiding junior teachers. Hands-on experience in curriculum design and classroom innovation is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for PRT classes aligned with CBSE standards.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records for each Science class.
Organize monthly science fairs and project exhibitions at Tulas International School.
Conduct remedial sessions for students struggling with Science concepts.
Collaborate with the PRT team to integrate activity-based learning in Science teaching.
Prepare students for inter-school science quizzes and Olympiads.
Mentor two to three junior Science teachers through classroom observations and feedback.
Analyze quarterly assessment data to refine Science teaching strategies.
Ensure lab safety protocols and proper handling of Science equipment in labs.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology) with minimum 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of full-time Science teaching experience in primary grades.
TET or CTET qualification preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with CBSE Science syllabus for Classes 1 to 5.

After two years of consistent performance, eligible candidates may transition to Vice Principal roles.
