About Phoenix Sr. Sec. School | Kiccha

Phoenix Senior Secondary School sits on the busy stretch near the Police Chowki in Azad Nagar, Darau Road, Kichha, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, 263148. The school was set up in 2018 by the Shri Sai Tatya Education Trust to serve families from Kichha and the surrounding villages, many of whom travel a short distance each day for a reliable education. As a co‑educational day school, it brings together children from different backgrounds, and the teachers have grown accustomed to the rhythm of the community – a mix of farmers, small‑business owners and professionals who all value steady, practical learning.

The teaching environment feels grounded and focused. Classrooms are airy and equipped with whiteboards, projectors and internet access, while the science and computer labs let students move beyond textbook theory. The school’s library, though modest, is well stocked with textbooks, reference books and a few novels that encourage reading for pleasure. Sports facilities are simple but functional, giving students space to run, play cricket or practice indoor games during breaks. What stands out most is the way the staff, led by Principal Mr Sajal Saroha, keep an eye on each child’s progress and are quick to step in when extra help is needed.

Phoenix follows the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum (CBSE affiliation number 3530593, school code 80027). From Nursery right up to the senior secondary level, instruction is in English, and the senior streams include PCM, PCB, Commerce and Arts. The school has also introduced French as an optional language, giving students a taste of a global tongue. The e‑Care mobile app links parents directly to the school for fee payments, attendance updates and notifications, which makes the day‑to‑day coordination smoother for busy families.

Overall, the school’s 8,100‑square‑metre campus is built to be accessible for differently‑abled students, and the atmosphere is one where teachers and learners meet with a clear purpose. It may not be a flashy institution, but it offers a steady, practical education that many in Kichha and the wider Udham Singh Nagar district have come to rely on.
