PRT Mathematics Teacher Job in Alipurduar, West Bengal
Kb Accademy seeks a dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher to join its team in Alipurduar. This role demands expertise in designing age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum while fostering conceptual clarity in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Your work will include hands-on activities like experiments with geometric shapes, real-world problem-solving, and interactive simulations to bridge abstract concepts with practical understanding.
The teacher must evaluate student progress through quizzes, projects, and periodic tests, ensuring assessments reflect both procedural fluency and deep mathematical reasoning. Participation in school-wide math competitions and mentoring weaker students to improve their confidence is essential. Your ability to simplify complex theorems and encourage critical thinking will shape young learners’ engagement with the subject.
For this position, a graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field is mandatory, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in primary or lower secondary levels, is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly advantageous. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month, along with a supportive environment to grow professionally in Alipurduar, West Bengal.
