Reporting and scope
The teacher reports directly to the Head of Science Department and collaborates with fellow TGTs on interdisciplinary projects.
Core duties
Curriculum delivery – design and teach chemistry units aligned with state guidelines, ensuring concepts are clear and relatable.
Assessment and feedback – conduct regular quizzes, lab reports, and mock tests, providing constructive feedback to students.
Laboratory supervision – manage safety protocols, maintain equipment, and guide students in practical experiments.
Student mentorship – support academic counseling, monitor progress, and assist students preparing for state and national exams.
Professional development – attend workshops, share best practices, and contribute to curriculum enhancement meetings.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a school setting is essential.
Compensation and location
