NTT Evs Teacher Job in Darjeeling, West Bengal | School Recruitment
Role
The position is a Non‑Teaching Transfer (NTT) Evs Teacher at Ranidanga Darjeeling Public School | Darjeeling, located in Naxalbari, Darjeeling. The teacher will handle the Environmental Studies (Evs) curriculum for classes IX to XII, fostering practical understanding of ecological concepts among students.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Evs lessons in line with the West Bengal Board syllabus, using interactive methods and local examples such as the tea gardens and Himalayan ecology. Prepare teaching aids, conduct field visits, and assess student progress through assignments, projects and periodic tests. Maintain classroom discipline, keep accurate records, and collaborate with senior staff for co‑curricular activities.
Qualification
Candidates must possess a graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Preference will be given to those who have cleared TET or CTET. The qualification aligns with the standards set for Evs teaching positions in schools across the state.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Environmental Studies or related science subjects is required. Experience in rural or hill‑area schools will be considered an advantage, given the local context of Ranidanga Darjeeling Public School | Darjeeling.
Compensation
