Job Overview
The Psychological Counsellor will provide essential mental health support to students at Techno India Group’s Phansidewa campus. This role ensures early identification of emotional and behavioural concerns to promote a healthy learning environment. Regular counselling sessions and workshops will be conducted for students across all grades.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver individual and group counselling sessions for students facing academic or personal challenges.
Maintain confidential student records and progress reports for internal reference.
Coordinate with school leadership and parents to address behavioural or emotional issues.
Organise awareness programs on stress management, bullying prevention, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with external mental health professionals for referrals when needed.
Monitor student attendance and participation trends to identify at-risk learners.
Prepare monthly reports on counselling activities and outcomes for school administration.
Participate in staff meetings to integrate psychological insights into school policies.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in Psychology or related field from a recognised university
Minimum 2 years of experience in counselling or mental health support
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
Good to Have
Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Counselling
Experience in school or educational settings
Familiarity with child and adolescent psychology principles
Preferred Skills
Effective leadership in guiding students through emotional challenges
Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality
Organisational skills to handle documentation and reporting duties
Salary and Benefits
Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month based on experience and qualifications
