Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging physical education lessons for classes 6 to 10.
Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all sporting activities.
Coordinate inter‑school competitions and manage school sports teams.
Maintain accurate records of student participation, progress, and attendance.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical health concepts into the broader curriculum.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in any discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory.
Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports drills, and health education.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record in physical education instruction.
Experience in coaching school sports teams and organizing events is an advantage.
Salary
Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
