About This Role (immediate joining preferred)
Narayana School in Hooghly, West Bengal requires an experienced Physics Teacher for our senior secondary section. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team immediately.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Physics to senior secondary students, including theory and practical sessions.
- Prepare students for board exams, including CBSE and ICSE curricula.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, ensuring effective delivery of Physics concepts.
- Conduct regular assessments and exams to evaluate student performance.
- Provide individual guidance and support to students, particularly those requiring additional help.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute academic projects and activities.
- Participate in school events, such as science fairs and Physics exhibitions, to promote student engagement and learning.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics (M.Sc.) or a related subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
- NET/SET qualification in Physics or a related subject (desired).
- Proven teaching experience in Physics, preferably in a senior secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Physics curriculum, including CBSE and ICSE syllabi.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
