Role Summary
Narayana School in Hooghly, West Bengal is seeking an experienced and skilled PGT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students of Narayana School.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science to students of Class XI and XII.
- Prepare and deliver lessons that meet the curriculum requirements of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
- Conduct assessments and exams to evaluate student progress.
- Develop and implement a range of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
- Create a learning environment that promotes critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in class discussions and activities.
- Prepare and administer exams, tests, and quizzes to assess student learning.
- Provide guidance and support to students in achieving their academic goals.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievements.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Post Graduate degree in Social Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Ed or M.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- CTET/NET/SET qualified.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school.
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Social Science to students of Class XI and XII.
- Knowledge of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
