PRT Mathematics Teacher Position at Don Bosco School, Chinsurah Magra
The PRT Mathematics Teacher will join Don Bosco School in Chinsurah Magra, Hooghly, to deliver high-quality mathematics instruction across Class 6 to 12. This role focuses on engaging students with conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and real-world applications of math. The teacher will prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum while adapting teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
You will conduct daily classes, explain abstract concepts with visual aids and examples, and foster critical thinking through interactive exercises. Assess student performance using continuous evaluation methods, including quizzes, projects, and practical demonstrations. Collaborate with the mathematics faculty to refine teaching strategies and share best practices.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and discipline. Organize extracurricular activities like math competitions, workshops, and guest lectures to enhance interest. Ensure classroom management is orderly, enforcing rules while creating a supportive learning environment.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum two years of teaching experience in mathematics is required. Familiarity with TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Salary for this position is Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, with full-time employment.
