Your Students
You will be working with students in classes 1-5, teaching Mathematics and fostering a love for learning in an inclusive classroom in Hooghly. Our students come from a range of backgrounds, and you will need to be able to adapt your teaching to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will work closely with colleagues to develop lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners
- Teach Mathematics to classes 1-5, using a range of teaching methods to engage students
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Use a variety of resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and multimedia materials, to support teaching and learning
- Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure a seamless learning experience for students
- Conduct regular meetings with colleagues to discuss student progress and develop strategies to support students who are struggling
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a Mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures

You will need to have a graduate degree and a B.Ed, or equivalent qualification, with a strong background in Mathematics.
