Role Summary
The Drummer position at Narayana School Howrah Uluberia is a full-time administrative role responsible for leading school events, assemblies, and cultural programs with rhythmic precision. Day-to-Day Duties
Conduct daily morning band rehearsals for students and junior drummers to maintain rhythm and coordination.
Prepare and lead percussion sections during school assemblies, sports days, and cultural events.
Train and guide a team of student drummers in proper drumming techniques and school protocols.
Coordinate with the school’s event management team to align musical performances with event schedules.
Ensure all percussion instruments are maintained, tuned, and stored safely after use.
Rehearse special performances for Independence Day, Republic Day, and annual day celebrations.
Monitor student participation and discipline during band practice sessions.
Submit weekly progress reports to the school administration on rehearsal outcomes and student performance.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in school or institutional band leadership.
Proficiency in playing multiple percussion instruments, including drums, tabla, or dholak.
Good to Have
Prior experience in marching band or school cultural events.
Familiarity with Indian classical or folk percussion styles.
