Collaboration with colleagues in the Social Sciences department is expected to enrich interdisciplinary projects. Continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and peer observations will be encouraged. The role includes preparing students for competitive exams such as UGC‑NET, CSIR‑NET, and SET, while fostering a learning environment that supports both academic and extracurricular growth. Students will be guided in research projects, group presentations, and community outreach initiatives that reflect the practical application of business theories. The teacher will maintain accurate attendance records, prepare timely progress reports, and participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress. Maintaining classroom resources, managing digital learning tools, and ensuring compliance with school policies are essential duties. The teacher will also contribute to curriculum review meetings and provide feedback on instructional strategies to enhance overall teaching quality.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Business Studies or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record in delivering Business Studies curriculum. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a passion for student development. Knowledge of modern pedagogical techniques and familiarity with technology‑aided instruction will be advantageous.
