PGT Yoga Teacher Job in Howrah, West Bengal
Role Summary
Our premium school in Bally Jagachha, Howrah, West Bengal seeks an accomplished PGT Yoga Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with students in the community, empowering them to develop a lifelong passion for yoga.
Your Students
Our students are the heart of our institution. They are from diverse backgrounds and require a teacher who can cater to their unique needs. The PGT Yoga Teacher will be responsible for teaching yoga to students from Class VI to Class XII. Our students are eager to learn and develop their skills in yoga, and we expect our teacher to inspire and motivate them.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver engaging yoga lessons to students, taking into account their varying skill levels and abilities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive yoga curriculum that meets the requirements of the State Board of West Bengal.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' progress and understanding of yoga techniques.
- Plan and organize yoga-related events, workshops, and competitions that foster a sense of community and friendly rivalry among students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive and well-rounded yoga program.
- Participate in school events, conferences, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in yoga teaching.
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional help or guidance in yoga.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to take risks and push their limits in yoga.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Yoga or a related field (M.A. in Yoga or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed in Yoga or a related field (B.Ed in Yoga or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- NET/SET in Yoga or a related field (NET/SET in Yoga or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- CTET/TET not required for this role.
