Job Description
As a TGT Computer Science Teacher at Don Bosco School Bagnan, you will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students in classes IX-XII. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science and experience in teaching students of similar age groups.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans for Computer Science classes
• Teach Computer Science concepts to students, including programming, data structures, and algorithms
• Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams
• Use educational technology to enhance the learning experience
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and resources
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Participate in school events and activities related to Computer Science
• Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Computer Science
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Computer Science into the broader curriculum
Requirements
• B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a specialization in Computer Science or a related field
• TET or CTET preferred but not mandatory
• 4 years of experience in teaching Computer Science or a related subject
Skills
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and programming languages
• Experience with educational technology and online resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and teaching methods
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with Indian curriculum and assessment frameworks
