About This Role
Narayana School Fulbari is seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty. As a computer science teacher, you will be responsible for teaching computer science concepts to students in the primary classes (1st to 5th). You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of computer science professionals and contributing to the development of our school's computer science program.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach computer science concepts to students in the primary classes (1st to 5th) using interactive and innovative methods.
2. Plan and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, encouraging participation and engagement.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
4. Develop and implement computer science projects that promote problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate computer science with other subjects, such as mathematics and science.
6. Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, including the use of educational software and online resources.
7. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
8. Participate in staff development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with best practices in computer science education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree or equivalent.
- 3 years of teaching experience in computer science, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
