About This Role

The role involves teaching Science to middle school students with a focus on clear concept building and practical understanding. Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum for Classes 6 to 8.
Prepare monthly teaching plans and maintain daily lesson records in the provided format.
Organize and conduct periodic science lab activities and demonstrations.
Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
Provide remedial support to students needing extra help in Science concepts.
Collaborate with subject teachers to plan inter-house science exhibitions and fairs.
Participate in PTMs and share constructive feedback on student progress with parents.
Maintain clean and safe lab conditions with proper labeling of chemicals and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or General Science).
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment.
Good to Have
TET or CTET certification for higher preference in selection.
Experience in teaching Science to middle school students in West Bengal.
Familiarity with state board curriculum and local teaching methods.
