- Work closely with parents and community members to share student progress and involve them in their child's learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Mathematics curriculum and assessments that meet the needs of our students.
- Use phonics, storytelling, and rhymes to develop students' language skills and math vocabulary.
- Encourage students to explore and experiment with mathematical concepts through hands-on activities and projects.
- Use technology and digital tools to enhance Mathematics learning and make it more engaging and interactive.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community members and organizations to provide opportunities for students to learn through real-world experiences.
- Participate in Mathematics Teacher Training and Development programs to stay up-to-date with best practices and new technologies.
Eligibility
- Graduate degree in Mathematics or related field (B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred)
- 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting (preferably in a similar age group)
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong commitment to child-centered learning and community involvement
