Delhi Public School Ruby Park in Beleghata, Kolkata, seeks a dedicated PGT Botany Teacher to inspire students with advanced knowledge in plant sciences and ecology. This role involves shaping young minds through engaging lectures, hands-on lab work, and curriculum development aligned with CBSE standards.
Plan and deliver high-quality Botany classes, covering topics like plant physiology, genetics, and biodiversity, while ensuring interactive and practical learning. Prepare and assess students’ projects, experiments, and exams to measure progress effectively. Collaborate with the science department to integrate Botany with other subjects, fostering interdisciplinary learning. Maintain well-organized lab facilities, ensuring safety and equipment availability for experiments. Develop supplementary study materials, including worksheets and digital resources, to enhance student understanding. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to environmental science and botany.
A postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field with at least three years of teaching experience is essential. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification will be advantageous, though not mandatory. The salary for this position is Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month.
