- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student performance and progress.
- Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss Chemistry curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment strategies.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress in Chemistry.
- Attend staff development programs to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in Chemistry education.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- CTET/NET qualification is not mandatory for this position.
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
Preferred Skills
- Proven track record of improving student performance in Chemistry.
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching methods and resources.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet
- Familiarity with West Bengal Board syllabi and assessment requirements.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities, such as mentoring junior teachers or contributing to departmental leadership.
Salary and Benefits
