Our students are from diverse backgrounds, with a majority hailing from Kolkata's neighborhoods. They are bright, inquisitive, and eager to learn. As a PGT English Teacher, you will be working with students from Class VIII to Class XII, preparing them for the West Bengal Board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to Class VIII to Class XII students
- Prepare students for West Bengal Board examinations
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating technology and multimedia resources
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans
- Engage with parents through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings
- Participate in school events and activities, such as literary fests and book clubs
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching methodologies
- Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment framework
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in English language teaching
Who Can Apply
- Postgraduate degree in English Literature or English Language
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- NET or SET qualification (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a PGT English Teacher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
