Bhavans Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir invites a dedicated PRT Bengali Teacher to join their vibrant school in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. This role focuses on nurturing Bengali language skills in young learners through engaging classroom instruction and cultural enrichment.
Develop and deliver age-appropriate Bengali language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum. Create interactive teaching materials, including storybooks, poems, and grammar exercises tailored to students’ developmental stages. Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves fluently in Bengali. Organize cultural activities, such as recitals, storytelling sessions, and festivals, to deepen students’ appreciation for the language and its heritage. Collaborate with senior teachers to integrate Bengali content across subjects where relevant. Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit regular reports as required.
To qualify, hold a Bachelor’s degree in Bengali or Education, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Bengali or language education, is essential. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior experience with these certifications will be an asset.
