PRT Dance Teacher Position at IEM Public School, Kolkata
IEM Public School in New Town invites applications for the role of PRT (Pupil Teacher) Dance Teacher in its A. C Lane campus. This position focuses on delivering structured dance classes across various age groups, fostering creativity and physical coordination among students. The teacher will design engaging lesson plans, incorporate cultural and contemporary dance forms, and ensure alignment with school curriculum goals.
Daily responsibilities include conducting morning and afternoon dance sessions, supervising student participation, and assessing progress through practical evaluations. Collaboration with the school’s arts department and parents will be essential to support holistic student development. The role also involves maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment while adapting teaching methods for diverse student abilities.
To qualify, candidates must hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of relevant teaching experience in dance or related subjects is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The monthly salary for this full-time position ranges from Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The location remains at IEM Public School’s A. C Lane campus in Kolkata.
