Participation in school events, performances, and inter-house competitions is mandatory, where your expertise will shine in organizing and leading dance showcases. Regular feedback sessions with parents will ensure alignment between academic and extracurricular growth. Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom is critical, so you’ll enforce discipline through positive reinforcement and clear expectations. Collaborating with the principal and other teachers to integrate dance into broader curriculum goals will be part of your responsibilities.
To qualify for this PRT Dance Teacher position, a graduate degree with either a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Prior teaching experience in dance or related subjects is highly valued, especially in schools or institutions like The Eagle Foundation Academy. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. A strong passion for dance, creativity, and the ability to connect with diverse students are non-negotiable. Experience in teaching children aged 6 to 12 years would be particularly beneficial.
