- Engage parents through periodic updates on student progress in Evs, addressing any concerns and encouraging home‑school collaboration.
- Stay updated with national and state educational guidelines for Evs, incorporating best practices into classroom instruction.
- Support school initiatives such as clean-up drives, tree‑planting campaigns, and community outreach projects, reflecting St Johns High School’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Manage classroom resources, including laboratory equipment and eco‑friendly teaching aids, ensuring they are used responsibly and maintained in good condition.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for educational authorities, documenting achievements and challenges in Evs delivery.
- Encourage students to participate in inter‑school competitions and exhibitions on environmental topics, promoting a culture of scientific inquiry.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for teaching positions. TET/CTET is not mandatory but will be considered as an advantage. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in secondary schools is expected. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a passion for environmental education.
Salary and location
