Collaborate with the arts coordinator to integrate dance themes into annual day themes and festival celebrations.
Conduct periodic assessments using rubrics that measure technique, creativity, and stage presence.
Organize in-house recitals to showcase student progress and build confidence in front of an audience.
Coordinate with music and art teachers to create cross-disciplinary projects that enrich classroom learning.
Document student participation, progress, and areas for improvement in individual portfolios.
Attend monthly faculty meetings to align dance activities with school-wide academic and cultural goals.
Eligibility
Postgraduate degree in Dance with a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a school environment.
B.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification recognized by NCTE.
Preference for candidates with prior experience in curriculum design for middle and secondary dance programs.
Familiarity with syllabi from state boards or CBSE, especially in Kolkata schools, is advantageous.
