You will use practical tools and activities, such as grammar exercises, vocabulary building, and comprehension passages, to ensure that students develop a strong understanding of Sanskrit language and literature. You will also use multimedia resources, such as audio and video recordings, to enhance student learning.
Day-to-Day Duties (8 duties specific to Sanskrit teaching)
- Prepare and teach Sanskrit lessons to students from 6th to 10th standard
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Conduct periodic assessments and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement Sanskrit curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
- Engage with parents and communicate student progress through regular updates and meetings
Eligibility (Sanskrit-specific degrees and certifications)
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Master's degree in Sanskrit (M.A. Sanskrit) or a related field. You should also have a B.Ed. degree or a D.El.Ed. certification from a recognized institution. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of Sanskrit language and literature, as well as experience in teaching Sanskrit to students from 6th to 10th standard.
