About This Role
Techno India Group Public School invites applications for a full-time PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty in Krishnagar I, West Bengal. As a PGT Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students of classes 9 to 12.
Teaching Approach
Our Mathematics Teacher will follow a practical approach, incorporating real-life examples and hands-on activities to make complex concepts easy to understand. The PGT Mathematics Teacher will use visual aids, mathematical models, and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Regular assessments and feedback will be provided to track progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Mathematics classes 9 to 12
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students
- Use multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning
- Develop and implement innovative methods to improve student performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Mathematics curriculum
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance
- Participate in extracurricular Mathematics-related activities
- Develop and implement Mathematics curriculum for classes 9 to 12
- Use local and national resources to support Mathematics teaching and learning
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate should be a post-graduate in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this position. Possession of TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential.
