Gayeshbari Bright Institute in Maldah, West Bengal, seeks a dedicated PGT Bengali Teacher to lead the Bengali language and literature curriculum for senior students. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Bengali grammar, literature, and composition, ensuring alignment with the school’s academic standards. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student comprehension and creativity. Teach practical applications of Bengali, including poetry, prose, and cultural studies, to foster a deeper appreciation for the language. Collaborate with the academic team to design and update syllabi, textbooks, and supplementary materials. Act as a mentor to junior teachers, sharing best practices in Bengali pedagogy.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and academic achievements. Represent the school at language-related events, competitions, and cultural programs. Ensure compliance with curriculum guidelines and institutional policies while fostering a supportive learning environment.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Bengali or a related field. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in Bengali or a similar language subject. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Salary for this position is Rs.37,000 to Rs.60,000 per month.
