Gayeshbari Bright Institute is hiring a full‑time PGT Botany Teacher for its school in Malda, Maldah, West Bengal. The position involves teaching Botany to senior secondary students and contributing to the academic environment of the institute.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Botany lessons for classes XI and XII, aligning with the West Bengal Board curriculum. Prepare practical lab sessions, evaluate student performance through tests, projects and examinations, and maintain accurate records. Participate in departmental meetings, school functions and occasional extracurricular activities related to science education. Mentor students for science fairs and guide them in developing research projects.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in Botany or a related life science discipline with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; candidates with TET/CTET certification will be given preference. Strong command of English and Bengali, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a school laboratory safely are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for nurturing young scientists and be comfortable using digital teaching tools.
Compensation
