Gayeshbari Bright Institute in Malda seeks a dedicated PGT History Teacher to strengthen its academic curriculum with expert guidance. This role requires a passionate educator with a strong command of historical concepts to deliver engaging and contextually relevant lessons.
The successful candidate will develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the West Bengal curriculum, ensuring students grasp key historical events, periods, and their socio-political significance. Daily classroom instruction will include interactive discussions, case studies, and critical analysis of primary and secondary sources. You will also assess student progress through written exams, projects, and oral presentations, tailoring feedback to reinforce understanding.
Research-based teaching is essential—you will integrate modern historiography, debates, and interdisciplinary connections into syllabi. Collaborate with colleagues to design unit plans that bridge ancient history with contemporary global issues, fostering analytical thinking. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, multimedia materials, and digital tools, to support diverse learning needs.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, along with a supportive institutional environment focused on holistic student development. A postgraduate degree in History with at least two years of relevant teaching experience is mandatory.
