Role Summary
As a PRT English Teacher at Delhi World Public School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students in grades 1-5. Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver English language lessons, aligned with the curriculum and tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide targeted feedback and support
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect, empathy, and active participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language programs and initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements
- Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices in English language teaching and learning
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's English language curriculum
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and other activities that showcase student learning and achievement
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this PRT English Teacher position, you will have a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree, with a strong background in English language teaching.
