Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement physical education programs for students in grades 1-12
2. Develop and teach physical education curriculum that aligns with the school's goals and objectives
3. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical activity and well-being
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their physical abilities
5. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement school-wide physical education initiatives
6. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in physical education
7. Organize and supervise school sports teams and tournaments
8. Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and physical education programs
9. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed in Physical Education or a related field
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian physical education curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have:
- CTET/TET certification
- Experience working with students with diverse abilities and needs
- Familiarity with physical education software and technology
