Job Description
Role and Daily Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects—including history, geography, and political science—to students in Class 9 and 10. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the West Bengal curriculum while ensuring clarity and depth in key concepts.
Deliver structured classroom sessions, using visual aids, discussions, and hands-on activities to reinforce learning. Monitor student progress and address any gaps in understanding through direct feedback.
Prepare and maintain well-organized lesson notes, syllabus summaries, and assessment materials to support both teaching and evaluation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or a related discipline, followed by a post-graduation in Social Sciences or a relevant field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for the TGT role.
Two years of teaching experience in Social Science or a related subject is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for career advancement.
Salary and Employment Details
