Netaji Subhash Public School in Murshidabad seeks a dedicated PGT Physical Education Teacher to lead its sports and fitness programs. This role focuses on designing and implementing engaging physical education curricula, ensuring students develop motor skills, teamwork, and discipline through sports like cricket, athletics, and badminton. The teacher will also organize extracurricular activities, competitions, and health awareness programs to promote a balanced lifestyle among students.
The successful candidate will oversee daily PE classes, monitor student participation, and maintain records of athletic achievements. They will collaborate with the principal and other teachers to integrate physical education into the school’s overall academic and co-curricular development. The position requires someone passionate about sports science, fitness, and youth development, with the ability to inspire students through practical and theoretical teaching.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month on a full-time contract basis.
