Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct Physical Education classes for classes IX to XII, covering sports theory, practical activities, and fitness training.
Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and assessment tools aligned with the state curriculum and school standards.
Organise and supervise intra‑school sports events, games, and tournaments, ensuring safety and proper equipment usage.
Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports, and provide feedback to parents and senior staff.
Participate in school assemblies, health camps, and extracurricular programs that involve physical activity.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate qualification in Physical Education or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Clear background check and eligibility to work in West Bengal schools.
Desired Attributes
Good knowledge of various sports, fitness regimes, and age‑appropriate exercises.
