Job Description
TGT Social Science Teacher Position at Netaji Subhash Public School in Murshidabad
Teach Social Science subjects, including history, geography, and political science, to students in classes 9 and 10. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the West Bengal curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate content delivery.
Prepare and administer weekly assignments, quizzes, and projects to reinforce learning. Actively participate in classroom discussions and encourage critical thinking among students.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed records of academic performance. Collaborate with the school’s academic team to address learning gaps and support students in need.
Design and implement extra-curricular activities related to social science, such as debates, mock elections, or field trips, to enhance practical understanding. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and discipline. Assist in organizing school events, including cultural fairs, science exhibitions, and inter-house competitions.
Qualified candidates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, along with a postgraduate qualification in Social Science, are required. Two years of relevant teaching experience is mandatory. The monthly salary will be Rs.18,000 to Rs.32,000.
