About This Role
Kinder Bloom is looking for a Prt Academic Coordinator English Teacher to lead the English curriculum for primary classes in Hanskhali. The role blends classroom teaching with academic coordination to strengthen language skills among young learners. You will guide lesson planning, resource development, and student assessment for English across Grades 1 to 5.
Teaching Approach
Focus on phonics-based reading, creative writing, and oral expression using local context stories from Nadia. Introduce simple grammar games, flashcard sessions, and classroom libraries with bilingual books. Use audio-visual aids like short animated poems and picture-based storytelling to engage students from rural backgrounds.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly English lesson sequences aligned with CBSE primary frameworks for Classes 1 to 5.
Conduct daily English periods with emphasis on listening, speaking, and writing.
Design monthly English activity calendars including storytelling competitions and poetry recitation.
Prepare low-cost teaching aids such as flashcards and charts using local themes.
Collaborate with Prt Academic Coordinator colleagues to integrate English across subjects.
Assess student progress through monthly written tests and oral evaluations.
Organize remedial sessions for students needing extra support in English.
Maintain English corner displays and reading corners in each classroom.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in English or related discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with English specialization.
CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and ability to simplify lessons for rural learners.
Experience with phonics teaching, grammar games, and classroom storytelling.
Familiarity with creating low-cost teaching materials using local resources.
