PRT Art And Craft Teacher – Narayana School Krishnagar, Krishnagar I, Nadia, West Bengal
The school is looking for a PRT Art And Craft Teacher to conduct practical and theoretical sessions for primary classes. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing creative activities that align with the school curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute daily Art and Craft lessons for classes I‑V, ensuring activities are age‑appropriate and safety‑compliant.
- Prepare lesson plans, material lists and visual aids, adapting them to diverse learning abilities.
- Conduct hands‑on projects such as drawing, painting, collage, clay modelling and simple textile work, guiding students through each step.
- Assess student work, maintain progress records and provide constructive feedback to foster artistic growth.
- Organize intra‑school exhibitions, craft fairs and cultural events to showcase student creations.
- Manage classroom resources, maintain inventory of art supplies and ensure orderly storage.
- Collaborate with senior teachers to integrate art concepts with other subjects and support interdisciplinary projects.
- Supervise students during extracurricular art clubs and after‑school workshops.
- Uphold school policies on child safety, hygiene and discipline within the art studio.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- TET/CTET certification preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in Art and Craft at the primary level.

Salary: Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month
