Role Summary

What You Will Do
1. Develop and implement counseling programs to address students' emotional, social, and academic needs.
2. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
3. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify and support students who require additional assistance.
4. Provide guidance and referrals to parents and caregivers on how to support their children's emotional and academic development.
5. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, referrals, and student progress.
6. Stay up-to-date with best practices in counseling and psychotherapy, ensuring that our school remains at the forefront of student support services.
7. Develop and lead workshops, seminars, and training programs for teachers, staff, and parents on topics related to student well-being and educational psychology.
8. Participate in the development and implementation of school policies and programs that promote student wellness and safety.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in school counseling or a related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications is essential.
Preferred Skills
A strong understanding of psychological theories and models, as well as experience working with diverse student populations, is highly desirable. Familiarity with West Bengal's education system and the Psychological Counsellor Recruitment in West Bengal process is also an asset.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 - Rs.32,000 per month, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and leave entitlements, will also be provided.
