What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE standards for Classes 6 to 10.
2. Conduct hands-on lab sessions on programming, networking, and IT tools.
3. Assess student performance through regular tests, practicals, and project work.
4. Prepare students for Olympiads, coding competitions, and school tech fests.
5. Use digital platforms like Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, and basic robotics kits.
6. Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety while using computers and peripherals.
7. Organize workshops on cyber safety, AI basics, and digital literacy for students.
8. Collaborate with other subject teachers to promote interdisciplinary learning.
9. Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and school events related to technology.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification preferred
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with specialization in Computer Science or Science
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Computer Science for Classes 6 to 10
- Fluency in English and Bengali for effective communication
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience with smart classrooms and LMS tools
- Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE Computer Science syllabus
- Knowledge of Python, C++, or Scratch programming
- Exposure to robotics or AI curriculum
