Job Title
TGT Mathematics Teacher – Suba Public School, Chapra, Nadia
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the Mathematics curriculum for classes VI to X in line with state board standards, ensuring concepts are taught with clarity and rigor. Design daily lesson plans, worksheets and assessments that reinforce problem‑solving skills and logical reasoning. Conduct regular class tests, evaluate answer sheets and provide detailed feedback to help students improve their numerical aptitude. Organise remedial sessions for learners who need extra support and coordinate mathematics clubs or Olympiad preparation activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and progress reports as per school policy. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student performance in Mathematics and suggest strategies for home support.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the secondary level. Post‑graduate qualification in Mathematics or related science, coupled with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and smart‑class equipment for interactive Mathematics teaching. Strong communication skills in Bengali and English to interact effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
Salary
Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, payable as per school norms.
