About This Role
This is a full-time PGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, at Narayana School - Durgapur. The Chemistry Teacher Vacancy in Paschim Bardhaman requires a qualified and experienced Chemistry teacher to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to senior secondary students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Chemistry to senior secondary students, including boards' exam preparation.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, syllabi, and assessments.
3. Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations.
4. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
5. Prepare students for board exams and other competitive exams.
6. Develop and implement new teaching methods and techniques.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement academic programs.
8. Maintain student records and attendance.
9. Participate in academic planning and departmental meetings.
Eligibility
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry or related subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- NET or SET in Chemistry or related subject.
- CTET or TET certification from West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Good to Have:
- 2+ years of experience as a PGT Chemistry Teacher in a recognized school.
- Knowledge of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
