Role Summary
Burnpur Riverside School, Chittaranjan invites applications for the position of PGT Physics Teacher. This is a senior-level teaching role in a leading school in Barabani, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. As a PGT Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Physics to students of Class 11 and 12, and contributing to the development of the school's Physics curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Physics to students of Class 11 and 12, and prepare them for board exams.
2. Develop and implement the Physics curriculum for the school, in line with the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
4. Coach students for the Physics Board exams, and provide individualized attention to students who require extra support.
5. Develop and maintain a safe and engaging Physics laboratory environment.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Physics into other subjects, such as Mathematics and Science.
7. Participate in school-wide professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
8. Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to Physics education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
* A postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc. or equivalent).
* A B.Ed. degree or D.El.Ed. degree, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
* Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the TET or CTET exams.
