How You Will Teach

You will also be responsible for maintaining the school's IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, and other equipment.
What You Will Do
- Teach computer science to students in grades 1 to 5, using interactive methods and tools such as smart boards and Google Classroom.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate computer science with other subjects, such as math and language arts.
- Use online teaching tools, such as video conferencing software and learning management systems, to conduct virtual lessons and assessments.
- Maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, and other equipment.
- Assist students with coding and programming activities, using languages such as Scratch and Python.
- Develop and grade assessments, using online tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop integrated lesson plans and projects.
- Communicate with parents and guardians, using email and other digital tools, to keep them informed about student progress.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A postgraduate degree in computer science or a related field.
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching computer science to students in grades 1 to 5.
- Strong digital literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Experience with online teaching tools, such as video conferencing software and learning management systems.
