Role Summary
As a PRT English Teacher in Barabani, Paschim Bardhaman, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 1 to 8. Your primary role will be to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to develop their language skills and build their confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver English lessons to classes 1 to 8.
- Prepare and administer assessments to monitor student progress.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance.
- Develop and implement English language learning materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English into other subjects.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
- Supervise students during recess and extracurricular activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in any stream with B.Ed/D.El.Ed.
- Valid TET/CTET certification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
