Day-to-Day Duties

As the PRT Science Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Developing and implementing the Science curriculum for classes 6-10 at Burnpur Riverside School, Chittaranjan
- Mentoring junior staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning in the Science department
- Analyzing and interpreting board results to identify areas of improvement
- Preparing and submitting reports on student progress and departmental performance
- Collaborating with the school's administration to implement policies and initiatives
- Participating in professional development workshops and training programs to enhance teaching skills
- Assisting with extracurricular activities and Science fairs to promote student engagement and interest in Science
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
- Contributing to the development of the school's Science department vision and strategy
- Participating in the school's Quality Assurance and Improvement (QAI) processes

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching Science. A NET or SET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Your teaching experience should have equipped you with the skills to develop and implement curricula, assess student progress, and lead a team of educators.
