1. Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons to students in 6th to 10th grade, making sure they understand complex concepts and can apply them in practical situations.
2. Prepare and conduct periodic assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas where they need extra support.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive curriculum and ensure that Chemistry teaching is aligned with the school's academic goals.
4. Conduct experiments and demonstrations to make Chemistry more engaging and interactive for our students.
5. Provide individual support to students who are struggling with Chemistry concepts, helping them to catch up with their peers.
6. Develop and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
7. Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress, providing them with regular updates and suggestions for how they can support their child's learning.
Required Qualifications
* Post-graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.)
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed
* NET or SET in Chemistry (preferable)
* CTET or TET (not mandatory)
* 2 years of experience in teaching Chemistry in a school setting
* Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and their applications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing circumstances
